What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in begins at 2:00 pm. We ask that all pilgrims check out by 8:00 am so we can prepare beds for the next wave of walkers. If you arrive early, you're welcome to leave your pack with us and explore until your bed is ready.

Question 2

Do you accept walk-ins, or is a reservation required?

Accepted Answer

Walk-ins are always welcome — as long as we have a bed available. That said, we recommend booking in advance, especially during peak season (May through October), to guarantee your spot. You can reserve directly on our website, through Booking.com, or by emailing contact@nopasanadaalbergue.com.

Question 3

Is there a curfew or quiet hours policy?

Quiet time begins at 10:00 pm and the front doors are locked at that time. We ask all pilgrims to be respectful of fellow walkers who need their rest. Our music and patio gatherings wrap up before quiet hours so everyone gets the sleep they've earned.

Is laundry available?

Yes! We have an outdoor scrub table and drying lines available for pilgrims to hand-wash their gear. It's the traditional Camino way — and with the Spanish sun and breeze, things dry faster than you'd expect.

Question 5

Can I store my pack before check-in time?

Absolutely. You're welcome to leave your pack securely in the lobby before your bed is ready. Please note that pack storage is subject to staff availability, so we recommend letting us know in advance if you plan to arrive early.

How do I find you on the Camino?

You can't miss us — our front sidewalk is the Camino Francés itself. We are literally on the route, so if you're walking, you'll pass right by our door. No detours, no shortcuts needed. Just follow the yellow arrows and look for us in Ambasmestas.

Question 7

Is WiFi available?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and it's excellent. We run fiber optic internet throughout the albergue — fast enough to video call home, upload your Camino photos, and still have bandwidth left over. Consider it one of the modern comforts we're happy to offer.

Question 8

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept cash (euros), Visa, and Mastercard. Online bookings are processed securely through Stripe. We recommend carrying some cash as a backup, as connectivity in rural Spain can occasionally be unpredictable.

Question 9

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Accepted Answer

We do our best! Our dinner menu features pizza as the main dish, so please note that we are not a gluten-free kitchen. However, we offer lactose-free coffee creamers and a vegetarian salad option at dinner. If you have specific dietary needs, please let us know in advance and we'll do everything we can to make sure you're well fed.
